- Susan partcipates in the annual oratorial contest were you get 7 mintes to talk about anything. After two outstanding rounds she wins the competition. After she comes home to a small but heartfelt greeting she gives up on being cool and normal and becomes Stargirl once more.
- Stargirl goes to the school's Ocotillo Ball without Leo. At the ball, she was able to be popular in her own way that night. That was the last time anyone at Mica Area HS ever saw Stargirl again.
