- After few days of working on the project…
- Let's go to the presenting room. It is time to present! Remember, people all have different perspectives related to globalization. They exist because of different experiences and backgrounds.
- Group 1 is first, talking about local effects…
- Positive and Negative Effects of Globalization Aspect: Local
- The benefits locally are that we can access more products and goods from across the world at an efficient price point. Also, the number of migrants and immigrants increase, especially in a big city. I am from this town, and I see people with different cultural backgrounds.
- Benefits - access any product - population increase, culture mix Drawbacks - loss of traditional culture - surplus population
- However, globalization cause the loss of traditional cultures in certain place, such as our town. I come from Mexico and my family are immigrants. This also increases the population of foreigners.
- Group 2 is second, talking about national effects…
- Positive and Negative Effects of Globalization Aspect: National
- There are also national influences. The country are more entrepreneurs in the country, causing it to be more commercialized. The products in the market also increases, along with the importing and exporting of goods. For example, according to my dad, who has a job relating to international trade, occasionally there were ups and downs in the market. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad, depending on the perspective of different nations.
- Benefits - social entrepreneurs & commercialization - goods in market increase Drawbacks - patriotism decrease - consumption increase & consumerism
- One drawback is the decrease of patriotism due to the mix of cultures in the nation. However, it might also be a benefit. Another drawback is the increase of consumption in the country due to surplus population. Consumerism is another factor that relates to marketing.

- It is time to talk about the global effects of globalization! There are many benefits. One is the interconnectedness between nations, especially through technology and the internet, allowing better and faster global interactions. There are also factors which can be positive and negative, such as trade. Free trade allows the movement of goods and services among nations without political or economic barriers, multinational companies are the most successful ones. Popular culture is another effect. More people has the same cultural traits, which are are part of today's changeable, urban-based, media-influenced societies.

- Globalization has many benefits, but more people should be aware of the negative effects it has. That way, we will be able to create a better world.
