- The main combatants of the Pacific Theater were the Allied forces against the Japanese. The Allied forces were the United States, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
- The style of warfare in the Pacific ranged from brutal close-ranged hand-to-hand combat throughout the dense Pacific's jungles to the strategic and technologically advanced naval and air warfare.
