Now that we have idea what is earthquake hazard; lets talk about the Risk Reduction. Mr. Brown How can we reduce the earthquake risk reduction?
seek out a safe spotDo "Drop, cover, and hold" find where is the fire exit Always protect your head from falling objectsafter the earthquake check yourself and others for any injuriesstay out of buildings Be ready for any aftershocks
Secure and brace overhead light fixtures. Repair any deep cracks in wall, ceiling, and foundation. store pesticides and flammable products in closed cabinet and on bottom shelves. Repair defective electric wiring, water, or gas connection.
Always be mindful of your surroundings and take care. follow this simple instructions to be safe.
