- Hi there! Welcome to Medieval Europe! Well, before the Black Plague. Journey with me to find out what happened during the Black Death
- When people started dying due to an unknown disease, the Church began to panic and attempt to find remedies to save their people
- pray!
- The church wanted people to pray and organised marches to hopefully save themselves. They thought God was punishing them
- God save us
- The Church started to blame the Jewish community for what the Black Death had caused!
- The Catholic Church believed that Jews poisoned wells to start the Black Plague
- In response to this, the Catholic Church murdered hundreds of Jews, and even burned some alive!
- Maybe now God will save us?
