- French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799. This revolution was started because of King Louis XVI horrible spending and participating in wars they didn't have to witch hurt the economy greatly nearly bankrupting France. Louis convened the Estates-General to try and save his budget crisis and started the revolution.

- The Tennis Court Oath was an oath made by members of the third estate vowing "not to separate and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established."

- The Great Fear was a period of panic and riot by peasants and others because of rumors of an "aristocratic conspiracy" by the king and the privileged to overthrow the Third estate.
