After the Mauryan empire fell, the Gupta empire started to rise 500 years later. This period began at 320 AD and ended at 550 AD.

During this period, many people started to follow Hinduism and there was a lot of peace. People started to be nicer to each other and there were very little wars happening.

People started to get creative in the Gupta Empire. They invented many things, math, science, and poetry. The Gupta Empire started making advances to art. Making beautiful temples and scupltures.

One of the most greatest achievements that the Gupta Empire had, was that they found out how many days are in a year! 
However, all good things must come to an end. One of the reasons the Gupta empire disappear was because, they wasted all their money they had.
Having no money made the Gupta Empire week. Soon, the White Huns invaded and took over the Gupta Empire.
