- “As you are engaged, I am on my way to Luchesi."
- “Luchesi cannot tell Amontillado from Sherry.”
- While I was partying during Carnival season, I noticed my old acquaintance Montressor. Montressor informed me he had a cask of Amontillado, before informing me that he would consult my arch nemesis Luchesi about the wine. I was infuriated, as Luchesi could not even distinguish Amontillado from Sherry, so Montresor brought me to the catacombs.

- " your health is precious".
- As we descended into the catacombs, I began to develop a cough. When Montresor noticed, he gave me a glass of Medoc, wishing me well and admiring my health and life. Later on, he claimed to be a mason, to which he had a debacle over if that statement was true. Eventually, he pulled out a trowel, and I then allowed Montresor to continue on.

- We eventually arrived upon the most remote end of the crypt, with walls lined with human remains, and a mound of bones on one side. We eventually reached a recess, very small but very intriguing to venture into. It seemed accidental, with its location being between two supports of the catacombs
