- This is Johnny. Johnny is twelve years old. He has a condition known as ADHD. However, this condition is unknown to Johnny and his parents.
- Johnny is energetic and loves talking about his interests, which include painting and science.
- Sometimes this can be a problem. Johnny's classmates see him as a distraction while learning. Johnny doesn't understand what he is doing wrong, but it makes him sad when his friends ignore him.
- Johnny finds it hard to focus on his schoolwork. He does not like to sit still for so long. He would prefer to be outside playing games.
- His teacher tells him to pay attention many times throughout the day. Johnny tries explaining why he can't but finds it difficult. He does not like getting in trouble.
- By the end of the day, Johnny is tired and excited to go home.
