A wide shot which focuses on a projectile about to hit a castle is shown. The time it takes for the shot to land and the wide encompassing shot from the camera establishes the medieval setting to the viewer, as there are castles and other medieval type objects in the shot. There is a main light, meant to replicate the sun which illuminates the entire frame as well as multiple small lights from fires.
Characters are shown attacking the castle. The camera is fast moving and shifts focus to many different parts of the battle quickly to show the chaotic nature of the conflict. Fire and smoke is placed to further show that the chaotic nature of the battle. There are many orange lights in the shot which are emitted from fires, despite the intense light the overall shot should still have smoke and thus be difficult to see fully.
The camera movement slows down to allow for more information to be shown to the viewer. The good characters are shown in bright armour while the enemies are covered in black. Additionally, the good guys are shown losing the battle, which makes the viewer connect better with them.
The protagonist is introduced to the trailer. A closeup view of the characters helmet makes the protagonist stand out from the rest of the characters in the animation. The character is shown walking from the castle, the fire around him giving his armour an orange glow, which makes his appearance stand out from the grey colours of the other characters.
The protagonist is shown fighting the enemies outside of the castle, thus establishing whose side he is on. The camera stays focused on the protagonist to emphasise his importance in the overall narrative, with the enemies he is fighting sometimes not shown in the frame at all. The shot is darker and more affected by the light from the flame to showcase the conditions that the characters are fighting in.
An over the shoulder shot from behind the protagonist shows him facing the enemy troops. This makes the viewer see the situation from the protagonist's perspective and makes them connect better with the character. The lighting in this scene should be dark and create an intense atmosphere, with a few orange lights from fires strewn across the background. The scene cuts at the peak of the suspense just before the fight in order to build excitement for the game.
