Jade and Maxine arrive at Mr and Mrs Winters home. They are greeted by Maxine's family. 
Mom it's not just nice. What I'm doing with Jade. Woman to woman is making a difference in her life. I was hoping that by bringing her here, you'd see I am doing something that matters.
Well, honey, now, don't get upset. You know I worry about you. It's very nice what you're doing with Jade.
During dinner, they share good news. Abby and Nathan's good news was that Abby's pregnant.

Mrs Winter offers Jade to bring back leftovers. This starts a bit of conflict between Maxine and her mother.
Maxine and Mrs Winter pull away from Jade to have a private conversation. Jade could still here them as she was sitting in the same room they were talking.
After Maxine and Mrs Winter have their talk, Jade seems uncomfortable after hearing what Mrs Winter and Maxine really think of her. 
Maxine drives Jade home. It is silent and awkward as Maxine tries to explain her and her mother's conversation.
