- Individual Freedom and collective expression in the Philipines, I'd say, is the most excersised and an unmistakable sign of this country's democracy. Our individual rights and freedom, the most basic, the eesential to the complex and critical ones define our identity as Filipinos, and the basic extension of our humanity. That needs to express, to communicate, and to reach out to one another without the fear of judgement or even criminal prosecution.
- Our government values every Filipino’s freedom of speech and expression, knowing that they are truly vital toward a free flow of information and constructive and productive discourses
- Without a doubt, global disinformation on matters relevant to social progress and development has created disorder, confusion, and division among communities. Furthermore, this generates effective spaces where corrupt individuals can flourish and exploit the public's fears and vulnerabilities if left unchecked
- Tolerating the spread of misinformation in the name of everyone’s freedom of speech and expression is no different from encouraging an individual to remain apathetic and oblivious to the growing societal problems everyone is facing, especially in today's society.
- All operations that the government has undertaken regarding this matter, are legal operations that are hinged on the respect for the rule of law and due process as provided by the country's justice system. It also guaranteed that Philippine government values, protects, and upholds. Such freedoms clearly prove our thriving democracy.
- We are at the beginning of a new era. Following the developing phases of health quarantines, we are in a state of reopening. We now enter a period of adjustments, which we have yet to accept. These premises compel us that there is really no other way than to move forward
