But doesn't it rain a lot around here?
This is the Snoqualmie Valley. Many of the animals you find here are common in the Cascade Mountains, including bears, elk, foxes, eagles and many others. This is also where you can find Snoqualmie Falls, one of the most popular scenic attractions, which is also a National Historic location.
The Cascade Range is also home to Mount St. Helens which erupted in 1980 and caused the largest landslide ever recorded. The landslide moved 23 square miles of earth and rock at up to 150 mph!
OMG! So cool!
The End
Not really, we get about as much as many other states and our summers are very warm and mild. Washington is a great place to live! I hope you enjoyed your tour!
