- Yes , i was on a trek with my friend and we wanted to know about the mountain life life of you and your family . would you like to help me out
- sure i would love to tell about our lifestyle from where should we start ?
- Firstly , i would like to know what do you do for living ? , what food do you eat ? .
- The major occupation of peaple in mountain regions is agriculture as well as rearing of animals and the food we loves to eat is dhal bhat , momos , yak cheese and many more . but mine favourite dish is tea .
- Great!! but i am very curious to know about your clothes what clothes do you wear? and about your festivals , what are the festivels celebrated in mountain region ?
- As we live in mountain , we wear clothes which keeps us warm in the cold weather mostly thick and heavy coats made of leather or wool . We celebrate many festivels but main is Mani Rimdu. it is a 19 days religious festival celebrated by Buddhists to mark the founding of Buddhism by Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava
- What are the difficulties faced during living mountain region ?
- Life on mountain is very difficult as there is less place for crop production , frequent landslides which sometimes destroy our crops and land . Lack of medical care , many power cuts , buiding of house is very difficult and climate condition problems . even though life is very difficult we were happy in our village , far away from pollution and population in cities
