On the first day God created light and dark and separated them. God called the light "day" and the dark "night". On the second day, God created a dome that separated one body of water from the others. God called the dome "sky" .
Day 5
On the third day, God said there should be water under the sky into one basin, so dry land can appear. This happened, God called the dry land "earth" and the water basin "sea".
Day 6
On the fourth day, God created two great lights in the dome of the sky. One light was for the day and the other light was for the night. God created the lights to mark the seasons, days, and years.
Day 7
On the fifth day, God said there should be creatures of the sky and sea. God created all kinds of winged birds and sea monsters. God saw they were good and blessed them that should multiply and be fertile.
On the sixth day, God said that the earth should have every kind of living creature. And so God created every tame and animal, and all living creature that crawls on land. After this, God said there should be human beings in his image and likeness. So God created one male and one female and gave them dominion over all creatures of the sea, sky, and land.
