- Warbeck flees to Scotland from Ireland where James Iv welcomes him, and gives his cousin Lady Catherine Gordon to become his wife as to legitimise his claim further. In 1497 they launch a failed invasion of England
- In 1497 Warbeck flees to Ireland but is turned away by the Irish lords led by Kildare who is temporarily loyal to Henry VII. Deciding to capitalise of the recent Cornish Rebellion (1497) he decides to launch his invasion of England, which fails greatly and musters little support. He was arrested and sent to the Tower of London in 1497.

- After a failed escape attempt alongside Edward Earl of Warwick, after 18 months imprisonment. Warbeck was hung until dead, alongside the Earl of Warwick on the 28th November 1499.
