The compromise of 1850! it will have 5 bills one being admission of California as a free state second one organization of the southwest territories third one the adjustment of our border with texas and new Mexico fourth national slave trade in DC and the last one is fugitive slave law. This compromise is set to impact generation after generation and will be better for years of people to come.

A few weeks ago an act was proposed by a man named stephen A douglass and signed to pass by fredrick pierce. They did this so he could make a railroad through the region thinking he would have full support from southerners but it just created very bad fights and created BLEEDING KANSAS and lots of political arguments and overall was a very bad idea.
Why is there so many fights and not a good area anymore in Kansas?
