Hi I'm Isabel a Refugee from Cuba what's your name?
I'm Josef. What is your story of being a Refugee?
When I was 11 .Me and my family had to move here to get away from Fidel Castro because he was a bad government .We took a boat here .It took 5 days. It was hard dead,and almost didn't make it but we did and my mom had her baby on the boat it was a lot .

It's a LONG story but I am from Germany .I took a cruise ship filled with Jews because the president didn't like Jews and there was a war. So we set sail to Cuba and they changed their mind and it was the only country accepting Refugees . Paris was willing too and other countries but the Jews got all split up .a year later their was another war against the Nazis . And we were on the move but me and my mom were the only ones left so t he Nazis found us and we got sent to a concentration camp.

Wow . In those moments did you ever have one where you had to do something that you didn't want to do but had too?
Yes actually my mom and dad weren't really acting like parents so I had to step up and be grown up at age 12. Have you?
Yes, when I had realized me and my family had to leave my dad was in danger. And I was helping my dad plan our escape and making a boat.
Its so fascinating how are story are like and similar as refugees . I have to go now bye ! see you again!
