I've decided against circumcision. I can't justify putting him through the procedure and healing process without his consent.
Why? What if he's made fun of? What if girls dont want to be with him?

Foreskin's primary purpose is actually protection. It protects from infection, urine, fecal matter, and more. UTIs are not very common, and are easily treated.
Did you know studies show that there is a higher rate of hospitalization for UTIs in uncircumcised babies?
Practicing safe sex also protects against STDs. It is still very possible to get an STD if you're circumcised. Condoms are 98% effective at preventing STDs.
Robert Szabo says in his peer reviewed journal, Furthermore, circumcision also protects against other sexually transmitted infections, such as syphilis and gonorrhoea.
Studies also show that 1 out of 5 circumcised babies are suffer serious side effects from the procedure. I'm simply not willing to risk my child's health when the in cons, in my opinion, far outweigh the pros.
But did you know that circumcision also lowers the risk of HPV, the virus that causes penile cancer?
Why would I spend money to do something I don't want to do, when I could have my way for free? My insurance also does not cover circumcision.
But it's probably cheap because your insurance probably covers it.
