We all know the story of Romeo and Juliet ends in such tragedy, but what if the events that led to their downfall never even happened?
What if it ended in a long-lost fairytale with a happily ever after?
How It Should Have Ended
As Romeo receives the invitation to the Capulet party, instead of hesitating, he freely decides to go to see what the night holds.
So they won't get caught, the lovers decide to agree to meet up the next day right at sunset.
Upon arriving, it is love at first sight. Juliet, a Capulet, finds Romeo, a Montague, very intriguing, knowing it is going against her father's wishes.
Juliet explains to Romeo that her father wishes for her to marry a kinsman named Paris in only a short amount of time.
Reluctant to believe that his love is soon to be stripped from his hands, Romeo asks Juliet to run away with him.
Juliet, hesitant at first, agrees to run away with Romeo, deciding that a life with him is much more enjoyable than a life without him.
Because all they need is each other, they immediately set on their path. Little did they know, Paris followed them prior to their sunset meeting, and knew all about their plan to escape from the unwanted way of life.
Paris confronts them, leaving Romeo extremely angry. Nobody shall take his love! Romeo leaves no choice but to declare a sword fight. Paris agrees, stating that whoever wins, gets to keep Juliet.
Romeo wins, killing Paris. The lovers then set off to build a life of their own.
Much later, Romeo and Juliet find their way of life in peace and harmony.
8 years later...
They have a daughter named Madrona and a son named Nicolaus
As the story concludes, so does a happily ever after. THE END
