Hey Bob lets do a baking experiment, how different oven brands affect the baking time of a cake!
Ok lets do it i'm so excited!
First, lets talk about why fair experimenting is important Bob, It is important because we don't want an inaccurate experiment so using variables like independent, dependent and control variables helps make the science experiment more accurate.
Wow thats so cool!
First our independent variable which is the one that we can alter, it will be the oven brands we will use.
Ok lets start by getting some ovens!
Next our dependant which is the result of the experiment which will be a cake that takes longer or shorter to bake!
I hope it doesn't take too long because I want to eat the cakes!
Finally our control variable which is the things we keep the same each time! They are the heat of the oven which will be 350 Fahrenheit, the cake recipe and the size of the cake pan which will be a 9-inch cake.
Now that we have all the variables we can begin the experiment!
Yay I was getting hungry.
Wow I never new that was so important.
The first brand we will try is the Whirlpool WFG535SOJV and it took 33 minutes to bake.
Wow that is a moderate cooking time for this cake because the recipe said it would take from 30-35 minutes.
