- What she has a friend fish and didn't tell me? This is unacceptable!
- The stepmother finds out that Yeh-Shen has a friend fish and isn't very happy...
- Hey fishy. I'm having a bit of a bad day, so much scrubbing and sweeping!
- Hours Later...
- The stepmother puts on Yeh-Shens clothes and a black wig. When everyone is asleep she go's out to the fountain and murder's the fish.
- You will never, EVER, see Yeh-Shen again. MWHAHA
- The Next Day...
- My fish....its dead.
- Yeh-Shen came out to the fountain finding her fish dead. She collapsed to the ground and sobbed. But then an old man approached her.
- Why are you crying poor child?
- Wow, I never knew that thank you...
- The old man told Yeh-Shen the magic of the fish bones, Yeh-Shen usually asked the bones for food .
- Yes my dear your fish is dead. But listen to me carefully, the bones of your fish is filled with a powerful spirit. When you are in need you will kneel before the bones and let the bones know of your desire.
- The Day of The Festival....
- Yeh-Shen begs her stepmother to go to the festival, but her stepmother refuses.
- Please..may I go to the festival?
- You expect to go to the festival in those rags? You must be joking! When I get back I want tea and macaroons.
- A couple minutes later...

- Hello my fish. I desire to go to the festival, and there is no way I can go in these clothes. Any chance I can borrow some clothes?
- Yeh-Shen tells the fish bones her desire and then....
- Yeh-Shen transformed into a beautiful blue dress. She was shocked and then made her way to the festival.
- Make sure you don't loose your slippers.
- Oh my god, this dress is gorgeous! Thank you spirit fish bones.
- Who could she be?
- Uh oh!
- Yeh-Shen's step sister was starting to recognize Yeh-Shen so she ran off.
- Wow she is a very pretty girl....
- Doesn't she look like Yeh-Shen mother?

- Yeh-Shen ran off and then one of her slippers fell off.
- A few days later...
- The king got his hands on the golden slipper from a merchant. The king went around and let lots of other women try on the slipper.
- From this day forward, we will be looking for the owner of this golden slipper.
- At Yeh-Shens Cave...
- Wow! I can't believe this.
- The king found Yeh-Shen in the forest and followed her home. He had her try on the slipper and it fit her perfectly.
- I have finally found my true love!
- Yeh-Shen and the king got married. Yeh-Shens stepmother and stepsister got crushed by a shower of flying stones. And they lived happily ever after....
- You may kiss the bride.
