- this is so awkward!!
- Hey Maya!!
- I don't want to do this...
- Hey Maya!! So, are you going to do it??
- Omg I'm a horrible person...
- What do I do?? I can't believe I did that.
- MAYA!! you ok?
- It's the start or the story, and things have been off for Maya and Jamie. They see each other at the bus stop and act like they have never met each other before. Maya doesn't want to say anything, so she lets Jamie sit with her on the bus to school. Even though it's the last day of school things might not go well.
- I have to beat her!!
- Go Jamie!! go Maya!! who's going to win??
- wow!!
- HEY!!
- At school, things are already off with Jamie and Maya, and everything keeps getting more awkward!! Finally, Maya has a class without Jamie and with her other friends Celia and Grace. Celia tells Maya to do it, and she finally does. She texts Jamie that they don't have anything in common anymore and can no longer be friends. Jamie is shocked and Maya doesn't know if what she did was the right thing.
- JAI!!! WATCH OUT!!
- UH!
- *Blows whistle*
- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
- After Maya sends the text, she runs to the bathroom feeling sick to her stomach. She can't believe what she just did. Maya is having lots of regret of what she just did. She keeps overthinking everything and just when all of a sudden Celia walks in and ask maya if she's ok. She answers and they head to lunch. Maya is still very worried about it though.
- For field day, one of the games is volleyball and Maya and Jamie are put on separate teams to play. Jamie gets to serve first and hits the ball and they get the point. Then she serves again hits the ball right at Maya head!! Maya gets really upset and the game is finally over, and she storms off the court. She is thinking she made the right choice by dropping Jamie.
- After school everyone decides to crash at the local pool. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is there from school, including Jamie, Maya, Celia, and Grace. Jamie decides to hang out with Tyler and Anthony while the 3 girls are tanning on the grass. Celia jumps into the pool and tries to pull of Jamies Bikini top. Maya yells to the top of her lungs for Jamie to turn around. Jamie is furious at Celia and cannot believe what she's tried to do.
- Finally at the end of this story, Maya apologies to Jamie and it takes Jamie a second to forgive her, but she finally does, and they become friends again because Jamie knew that wasn't the true Maya. A few weeks later into the summer the group goes to Taystees pizza and ice cream. They enjoy a good meal of pizza and cannot wait for 8th grade.
