Hello my name is Dr. Kelly , the CEO of Mercy Hospital. today i will tell you about my system being hacked and having your information stolen.
Hi, my name is Jack and I'm the IT head at the hospital. today when i opened the computer we had gotten a massage saying that we have jacked into your system. someone fromthe hospital had clicked on a unsecured link which give the hackers access to our system
as soon as we had readerthe massage. we started to check our system to known if we were hacked or not, in fact we were hacked.after, we check the hacked system we were able determine that the hacker had stolen the patients names, their SSN and their medical records.
here are the steps we are advising all patients to take immediately to protect your data and change your password.go to the hospital websitelog into your accountclick on the person ion at top right corner to go into your profile settinggo the link that says change password
5. Follow the steps to change your password6. log out of the account 7. log into the account with the new password to check that it was successfully changed 8. check your email for the successfully change of password email if your not able to log back into the account9. your hospital account should now be safe.
