- Jude is walking home after getting fired from her job
- Jude keeps seeing Stella everywhere she goes, “It’s stupid. I saw Stella. I mean, I thought it was her. Swear she looked just like her” (Bennett 234). Jude keeps seeing Stella everywhere and she gets fired for dropping the bottle because of it.
- Jude tells Reese that she's been fired from her job at the diner.
- Jude asks Kennedy about her mother, "That's my mother's name. Or was her name...Estelle Vignes but everyone calls her Stella"(Bennett 245). This conversation reveals a new obsession for Jde as she will try and get closer to Kennedy to try and get to Stella. She had all her suspicions confirmed at this moment.
- Jude talks to Kennedy at the after party
