First, the plants absorbs the sun’s energy by the chlorophyll in leaves.
Photosynthesis is a process where green plants uses sunlight, water and carbon dioxide.

Next,the plant drinks water from the ground .The water goes through it’s roots and the water transports to the leaves.
After that, leaves collect carbon dioxide from the air through openings in the leaves called stomata.

Then the chlorophyll in the leaves traps energy from sunlight. This energy is used to combine water and carbon dioxide to produce glucose and oxygen. Glucose is used by plant as its food.
