- Silvey had a job on Wednesday she had to babysit Mrs Chong's kids Mary and Dougie, Mary was the same age as Chuen so came along too and Dougie usually has naps in the afternoon. The girls were coloring on the floor when a sound of glass shattering come from downstairs Silvey went to check when a hand peered through the door. Silvey ran upstairs and told the girls to hide under the bed while Silvey swiftly swooped up the paper and pencil. They were under the bed when they heard thumps and sounds of paper rustling. When they heard the burglar go downstairs Silvey crawled out and yelled Go-meng Go=meng help, help chuck lei Loi chuck lei Loi Burglar Burgler!

- One day Silvey was eating dinner with three American soldiers that they met a few months ago and has been eating with them since. They were all having fun and eating mums steamed sponge cake when they all stood up and started telling them that they had to go fight in war since they got their letter.
