I started my journey from being at the top of the mountain to then be weathered and transported down the mountain!
Hi! I'm Sultan the rock and I will tell you how I become a metamorphic rock
Once erosion and weathering had done I was transported to a beach I broke down into materials like mud and clay creating sediments so the process of sedimentation happened!
Once I had fallen it into the sea it was time for me to transform into a sedimentary rock! First I get compacted and squeezed by other clay and mud to get squished!
Now that I was out of the water it was time for cementation to occur. Cementation is when sediments are squished and hardened together to form a rock!
The next part of my journey was to become a metamorphic rock! I was transported to a cave where immense heat and pressure made the right environment for me to become a metamorphic rock!
And that's my journey of how I went from being a sedimentary rock to a igneous rock to a metamorphic rock! The processes of weathering, transportation, sedimentation, Cementation and compression and heat and pressure helped me to become this rock!
