  • Handshake represents a helping hand.
  • How to help
  • Although mental illness can be tough to talk about, there are many ways you can destroy the stigma around men's mental health.
  • Manly objects to represent toxic masculinity
  • The men and the globe represent that it's a global problem for men.
  • A way to get rid of the stigma is to destroy the toxic masculinity that fuels it. If you destroy the norm of men dealing with problems alone by being "strong", men will get more help without feeling less manly. Ignoring mental illness is not manly, so getting rid of that norm is an awesome way to help get rid of the stigma.
  • Destroying toxic masculinity
  • Things that help or treat mental illness.
  • Whether you are the one, or you see someone that is battling mental illness, you should find help. Often finding help is a great first step. Whether it be a doctor or therapist, they will help you take the necessary steps to help treat your mental illness.
  • Asking for help
  • Classroom represents educating yourself on mental health.
  • Learning more about mental health could help yourself but could also help others. Learning about mental health could give you tools in identifying mental illnesses in yourself and others. This could help find you or someone else find the help they need. A lot of men and not educated when it comes to mental health. If educated, men will gain more of an understanding of dealing with mental illnesses instead of putting them off.
  • Educate yourself about mental health
  • About mental health
  • Men's mental health is a global problem. A roadblock in the way of trying to help it is a large stigma on men's mental health. This stigma is fuelled by toxic masculinity and manliness thoughts. There are many ways to help though. Destroy toxic masculinity, ask for help, and educate yourself. By doing this we can look to help a largely unlooked at global problem and create resources to help.
