The alarm at the department sounded, as four seats were left empty, there sat Montag and the Mechanical Dog. Montag launched onto the pole and slid down, along Montag was the Mechichanical Hound with fiery green flames in his eyes.#160;
The Mechnical Hound, the firemen, and Montag headed straight to a flaky three-story house in the ancient part of the city with a thin fireproof plastic sheath.
Montag and the men crashed through the front door, one holding the woman while the other searched for the books, when a fountain of books sprang down as Montag climbed up the sheer stairwell.
Montag stood speachless, as his fellow mates repeatedly yelled his name, when finally he answered. The men were pumping a cold fluid from their numeraled 451 tanks that were strapped on their shoulders.
As the books and the house caught fire the men went to exit but one thing stopped Montag. The woman kneeled with the look of dread in her eyes, as Montag tried to help the lady exit the burning house.
Montag with guilt in his eyes exited the building realizing that the lady was not going to leave. She chose to die doing the thing she loved, and that was being surrounded by books. Which later on would make Montag rethink many of his actions.
