- Odysseus and his men arrive at the island of the cyclops, Polyphemus. They find his cave, which in they see blocks of goat cheese, and milk. Odysseus and him men get stuck in the cave. They finally escape by stabbing the cyclops in the eye

- Odysseus and his men arrive at the island of Aeolus. The king Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of wind. One of the men open the bag and it sends them to the land of laestrygonians.

- . Odyseeus arrive at the land of the dead just shortly after leaving the island of Circe, an immortal goddess, who had told him to go to the land of the dead to find Teiresias. Teiresias tells Odysseus 7 things that will happen in his future.

- Odysseus is miserable on Calypso Island , after being there for years under his will. . Hermes is send to help Odysseus escape.

- After many hardships, Odysseus' journey is almost over. He arrives at Alcinous' palace trying to find a way home. Odysseus tells the king about his journey. Then Alcinous tells hi that he will be going hoe. Alcinous gives Odysseus his best sip and crew to take him back home to Ithaca after 20 years
