In 1789 the bread prices were going up and a lot of the people were starving. They ransacked a city for weapons and armor then started on a 12 mile hike to the kings and demanded things. The king and his wife left for Paris and the bread prices went down.

The committee of safety made some new laws and one was that if they think someone is doing something illegal they can get arrested but people didn't like that and Maximilien Robespierre so they arrested him and guillotined him and it started numerous public executions.

In January 1793 king Louis was convinced of conspiracy with foreign powers and he was sentenced to death and in October 16 1793 Marie Antoinette was convicted of treason and was sentenced to death by guillotine.
Napoleon went to military school and after he stayed in the military and grew higher up in ranks and after a while everyone liked him and he took over power.
He was pushed out after he lost Prussia and Russia forces to Paris once he allied with Australia. Then the new king they only had for a year then they wanted Napoleon back and he stayed for a little then got defeated in waterloo campaign.
