- Enkidu was a wild man who lived in a forest. He challenged Gilgamesh, the king of Uruk to a fight. They fought all day, but in the end, they were impressed with each other. They became the best of friends.

- Enkidu and Gilgamesh became best friends and went on many adventures together. But Ishtar, the Goddess of Love and War, fell in love with Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh said he didn't want to marry her, which angered the Goddess. She sent the Bull of Heaven to destroy his city. But Gilgamesh and Enkidu fought bravely and killed the Bull. Killing the Bull angered all of the Gods. They cursed Enkidu. He got a disease and died after 12 days. During those days he told Gilgamesh about how terrible the afterlife is.

- After Enkidu's death, Gilgamesh was very depressed. He went to seek the secret to Eternal Life. He never wanted to die. After his quest he became a changed man. He learned a lot.
- Our Gods are quite mean. They killed my best friend for defending my city. I better go search for Eternal Life. It is scary in the after life. Death is bad.
