- conflict: Person vs. person Lockwood co are supposed to be working for mr. Fairfax who had them try to eradicate ghosts in one of the most haunted buildings in London. He turns on them and locks them in the most haunted room in the house, full of dripping poison blood because they had evidence on a murder case that would land him in jail.

- Characters traits: Brave, determined, and quick I learned that Lucy is very brave because she goes and fights very very dangerous ghosts. I also learned that she is determined because when they were struggling to defeat a ghost in the first few chapters, she still convinces Lockwood stays to try and defeat it. Lastly, I learned that she is quick because she can use her rapier/sword very well.
