 During the following week Fernandito was giving speeches about kidnappings and the dangers faced by children today. 
15 days after the disappearance 
The police officers found something strange in huertas' room and they found fingerprints, and when they investigated whose fingerprints they discovered something curious: they belonged to Fernandito
The policemen began to follow Fernandito everywhere he went without him noticing
While following him they observed that after work he was going to an abandoned house and spying on his calls they discovered that Fernandito was lying to Esperanza about where he was. .the place where he was staying
How every day Fernandito went to the abandoned house without thinking that the police were following him. As always Fernandito looked to the sides before entering to make sure no one saw him. With a sign the policemen crept into the abandoned house. 
20 days  after the disappearance 
With Fernandito as the main suspect, they could go to the place where they believed huertas was.
Fernandito said crying and begging for his son to be found.
Inside the house everything was dark and strange music was playing, along with strange noises. As the policemen advanced down a long, dark hallway they all had a bad feeling about what was about to happen. At the end of the dark hallway they found a door ajar and could not believe their eyes.
It was a Satanic ritual, 5 candles around a 5-pointed star and a child tied in the center.
