- What have I learned about myself?I learned that I need to follow my passion because its my future and not my parents. After completing the psych 100 course I was exposed to different aspects of having a psychology major and I realized that psychology was not something I wanted to do with my life. This course made me realize that I valued my family over my own personal goals and dreams. Being aware of this helped me realize I want to be a business marketing major. This would allow me to use my creative interest in a job that can also be very professional and rewarding. For the past 14 weeks I have been asking myself the same questions, who am I, where am I going, and how do I get there? After this past semester I know the answers to

- After this past semester I know the answers to those questions. I am Mariyah Langseth-Angel, a business marketing major. I am independent, determined, and kind. I believe in treat others the way you want to be treated because the kind person always wins in the end. The world is full of ugly souls and its important to be one of the good things this world has left. I am going to become a marketer at the community health center in my home town, I will create events to raise money for my company by bringing my community together. I will graduate from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a degree in marketing and study abroad to get the knowledge to help me be the best I can be in my field of work. The University of Nebraska LIncoln has surrounded me with many resources to ensure I can be who I want to be.
