I think the 13 blue envelopes symbolize traveling and adventure. I think it means this because in all these notes they have instructions for this girl named Ginny to go out to places like London and Greece. In these places she will travel alone and find different forms of art that her aunt wants her to see in person.

Aunt peg symbolizes freedom and brave. I think she symbolizes this because she ran away when and went out in the world by herself to go on adventures. She went to so many different country's by herself which is really brave of a person to do.

I think that these Virgin Vestals symbolize power and strength. I think they symbolize these things because they show Ginny how powerful she can be just like them when shes single. They also show her strengths of being single. Which shows her a different perspective of what she used to see being single as.
