This machine is a little too much to handle, especially for poor countries since the cost is too high. Also, in a few years it can a big environmental impact. The salt has to be disposed in large amounts of salt.
Well since it's in a few years, we can come up with something to figure this all out. We would be in a worse position if we had no more drinking water. Think about the animals too. They help with habitat protection. Think about food too! we can't farm without some fresh water. This machine has many benefits. Don't worry about the flaws of it yet.

In conclusion, we think desalination plants are highly beneficial only for arid areas or places with intense drought. it has both positive and negative environmental impacts, the costs could weigh out the benefits in a poorer country.
Agreed. For the disadvantages of this machine we will see in the future what it brings us to the table and figure it out. For now this machine is an amazing invention and very instrumental.
