- Some disadvantages of the Green Revolution are soil erosion, large amounts of chemicals in soil due to the crops, and loss of biodiversity. All of these factors have made it harder to grow crops.
- These "new" carrots are ruinin' my soil!! Now it's harder than ever to grow anythin' here because of them!
- Another major consequence of the Green Revolution is the increase in gender inequality for women. Women have always worked in agriculture, and they are not allowed to make decisions or get loans from banks. The Green Revolution had only worsened this.
- Ma'am, what are you doing in this bank? I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
- Ma'am. LEAVE. NOW.

- I believe that the Green Revolution was a good thing for the world. Because even though there were some negative consequences with the new types of crops, I think it proved more successful than unsuccessful. However, I believe that more research should have been conducted for the long term effects of the crops in order to prevent any future problems.
