- The Who of the Red Scare (and what they did)
- HUAC (House Un-American Activities Committee) would determine which organizations they thought were communists and studied each case. They would investigate as well.
- The HUAC created blacklists for companies and movie producers. This blacklist contains people who they assumed were communists. These people weren't allowed to be hired to work.
- The government (and people of the U.S.) were mad at the communists for being "un-loyal" to America. The government agreed with what HUAC was doing.
- The HUAC would investigate any people or families, who worked for the government, that they believed were communists. They would also get fired or wouldn't be able to work if they didn't already.
- Knock!
- Knock!
- In 1951, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg went on trial for being communists/spies for the soviet union. They were later executed.
