  • Hi, my name is Taisha. Children are often seen as the symbol of innocence, and childhood can be romanticized but my childhood was not that way, and I struggled to feel safe at home.

  • Because of this insecurity in my home it lead to behavioural issues within school, and because of my demographic I was often expected to act better. This meant I was punished worse.
