- I am Georgia Takei born and raised n Sacramento California. My mother Fumiko Emily Nakamura and Father Takakuma Norman Takei who both worked in real estate, Both my parents where present until 1942.
- In 1942, there was many things happening with the War unfortunately my parents were taken into concentration camps, I was forced to live in converted horse stables of Santa Anita park. We were there till they sent us to Rohwer War relocation center for interment in Powher, arksenson,
- The Interment Camp was in a Swampland, surrounded by barbed wire fences, my family was later transferred to Tule lake War relocation center, still here in California.
- I attended Mount Vernon Junior high school, and I was apart of the Boys senior Board President at this High school. I was a member of a Boy scout Troop 379 of the Koyasan Buddhist Temple.
- After the war over, we left Tule Internment Camp, I went back to Los Angeles this time with no money, no home or family Business. We had no choice but to live in Skid Row for around five years. Though the conditions were tough I still enrolled in school
- I had also attended the Shakespeare institute at Stratford upon Avon in England as-well as the Sophia University in Tokyo. While in Hollywood I studied acting at Desliu Workshop
- After Graduation, I enrolled myself I the University of California, Berkeley. Where I studied architecture. After a couple of months there I transferred to University of California where I was able to receive a Bachelors of arts in theater in 1960 and Maters Art in theater in 1964.
- In the late 1950's, my acting career was starting up with roles as small as being the voice to character in movies or being a main character in films. I had started off with being the voice of a Japanese monster films called Rodan, and later Godzilla raids and even was an anthology television series Playhouse 90.
- I had landed a role in Twilight Zone, But CBS considered the episode to be "disturbing" for the serious since it was a syndicate. The episode Aired once and was not seen after.
- As time went on and I filmed these shows, films, and voice over I was given an offer to be apart of Star Trek who at the the character was only going to survive through the first season, but later was decided his character story line would be expanded, but my role in The Green Berets as Captain Nim pulled me aw3ay from the Star Trek sequel, but my character was substituted till I was able to return, When I had returned it was required I shared a dressing and thought I was intimidated by his presence we later soon became friends.
