- hey, do you guys ever wonder if the early humans ever had brawls over who had the best architecture?
- Oh yeah! like if the ancient Romans ever told the ancient Egyptians that they invented better homes?
- A REALLY, REALLY LONG TIME AGO.
- see that hole over there? that is an ¨Oculus, a large hole in a roof used during the 3rd century to shine light on our statues of gods and goddesses. (also called the eye)
- don´t forget that the ancient Romans like me, invented the idea of more of a circular shape for our domes, temples, and palaces so it would support more weight!
- WELL WHO NEEDS WIMPY DOMES WHEN YOU HAVE ALMIGHTY PYRAMIDS! made from only the best of our slaves and lime stone!
- NOBODY INSULTS MY QUEENS ARCHITECTURE!
- Different statures, different buildings... So that´s why the pyramids looked so different from the temple of heaven!
- must have been stress full to share ideas through the world before texting was invented, MAYBE THAT´S WHY IT ALL looks SO DIFFERENT!
- Temple of heaven is a famous Chinese building made almost 601 years ago!
- Well I guess if the Egyptians knew about knowledge the Chinese had learned about using wood and stone to make architecture last longer maybe the pyramid would have still looked like it was just built yesterday!
