- Clarke and Wells are now getting to know each other. Clarke is trying to do something nice to Wells by grabbing his book and sneaking it out of the library. Wells does not want to because he is not a lawbreaker, his father is the chancellor and is in charge of everything in the Exodus ship. But he wants to do it for his mom so he can read it to her in the hospital. They both agreed, and Clarke used the special grey cloth so they wouldn't detect when a book was being taken out of the library. From then on Clarke and Wells started a friendship but little did Clarke know Wells fell in love with her.

- Bellamy is Octavia's brother and was arrested because she was a secondborn and the ship doesn't allow women to have more than one baby. Once Bellamy had heard that they were sending 100 teenagers to Earth to see if it was survivable. He had to be sure that he was on that ship to be with his sister. He told a guard to help him but they did not want to so he beat up the guard and took his clothes. He dressed up as a guard and went on the ship Ocativia saw him she was filled with excitement and was surprised too. Because she had not seen her brother in years and her brother was glad to see her.

- Doctor Lahiri is in Calrke's cell and is telling Clarke to give her her arm because she wants to put a bracelet on her which is no ordinary bracelet. Clarke is confused. She knows that it's not her time to die because she has not yet turned 18. The officer is there just in case Clarke tries to do anything. Clarke asked what this bracelet was for because once the bracelet was on her arm she felt like a hundred tiny needles went into her skin. The doctor said it is to record your life sign and Clarke said "Useful information for who?" Little does Clarke know this is to track her breathing and blood composition once she is on Earth.
