- On a dark and stormy day, a boat came across a gigantic wave. Viola thought that her brother, Sebastian, was killed in the storm.
- Seeing as the boat was made from wood, the wave tore it in two and the remains washed up onto the shore.
- Viola decided to become a man. She dressed up as one, cut her hair and called herself Cesario.
- Cesario Now works in the house of Duke Orsino.
- Cesario was very good at his (her) job and quickly became a favourite of Duke Orsino.
- Meanwhile, Sebastian just 'woke up' from his slumber in the shipwreck.
