- Johnny and Bob the Soc have a person vs. person conflict when they fight and Johnny ends up killing him
-                                                                                                                          Pony boy is still kinda sick from getting beat up by the Soc s and then being in a burning building. But he wants to prove that he is tough and wants to get back at the Soc s. So he still decides to fight in the rumble.
- An instance of person vs society would be Johnny. Before he saved the kids, he was wanted for murder. Another instance would be Dally and the police. He has a really bad record with them, and he isn't fondness of them either.
