The year is 1645, and Lyndsey Harper is living happily in her castle. She has servants at her disposal and can roam freely in her home
She has 3 children named Sara, Fredrick and Lucy. Her husbands name is Sir Robert Gale. He is a very old man who supported the royalists during the civil war. Lyndsey and Robert didn't always get along, but she still loved him dearly.
One night, Sir Robert was called upon to fight against the parliamentarians and Robert answered that he would be going as soon as possible. Lyndsey begged Robert, pleading with him that if he died, she would be heartbroken. Robert claimed that he had to go help save the country from the parliamentarians, and that he would be a shameless man if he didn't. So, Sir Robert Gale left late that night.
A few days later, Lyndsey got a telegram stating that her husband had died in battle. The Gale family were all devastated and even the servants were upset.
months after Robert's death, Parliamentarians came to the castle, demanding that Lyndsey give it up. However, Lynsey, who was enraged by these parliamentarians was having none of it.
The servants launched arrows from places from the balcony, impaling and killing the soldiers. The soldiers screamed in pain, not expecting the arrows to hit them. After a week of fighting, the parliamentarians back off, too scared to fight anymore. They had won! The castle was never disturbed again.
