- Subhi lives in a detention centre with his sister Queenie, his Ma and his best friend Eli.
- Jimmie lives in a house with her dad and her brother Jonah. She wants to read her dead mother's book but she can't read.
- Subhi runs packages to the other compounds with Eli. A jacket called Beaver saw and throws Subhi into a brick wall. Luckily, Queenie sees and quickly makes up an excuse before Beaver can hurt Subhi anymore.
- WE ARE INNOCENTPLEASE HELP US TO BE FREEWE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HOPE
- Jimmy wants to know what the detention camp is like so she finds a weak spot in the fence and slips in. She finds Subhi and asks him to read her mother's book.
- Eli is moved to another compound. Queenie and Eli have a plan so "the Outside remember us". They show Subhi the camera they plan to take photos on.
- 50 people are being moved out of Eli's compound to a transit centre in another country so Eli starts a protest. Lots of men sew there lips together. Many other compounds go on hunger strike.
