- Im going to tell you a story, so listen well...
- Who am I you ask? You don't need to know that, for now just listen to my tales of a, "Premature Burial"... Its a tale about people being buried alive due to being misidentified as deceased.
- But, just to warn you, I have been suffering with catalepsy. What is catalepsy? Its a medical condition characterized by a trance or seizure with a loss of sensation and consciousness accompanied by rigidity of the body. But nevertheless, lets begin with the story...
- The Story Begins with a wealthy and beautiful FrenchwomanNamed VictorineLafourcade, who married a banker even though her heart lay with a young journalist named Julien. Who was thought to be dead by the several years of abuse she went through by her husband.
- This day was a tragic day for all of those who cared for Lafourcade, but little did they know, that she was still breathing inside the coffin, unconscious, but breathing nonetheless.
- But there was one who couldn't live without her, Julien, Lafourcade's new love. He wanted to at least have some pieces of hair as a keepsake and to remember her.
