  • This summer Rosie went on a extravagant trip around the world. This is her first trip alone. She is visiting France, England, Cuba, and Somalia. Here she get ready to go to bed so when she wakes up she will be in Paris France.
  • Rosie's first stop was in France. All Rosie wanted was a croissant. When she looked up where the best ones were there were so many to pick from. This was the capitalism in France. She tried ordering her croissant from the bakery and they were all out. They had a shortage on flour, they had to wait for the government to provide them with flour. Rosie thought this was crazy, but then she found out France's government controlled the agriculture of the city. This meant that France was a Mixed Economy with both command and market economies.
  • Once Rosie made it to England she was going to go see her aunt. She never gets to see her, and she has a bunch of private farm land. Her Aunt also owns her own business. Its very successful and she has good competition in her field of Real Estate. Her aunt wouldn't be this successful with out the help of her countries market economy that gives her the ability to rightfully do what she wants to create and better her business.
  • Rosie had always wanted to go to Cuba. This is her dream vacation. She always saw online how pretty the beaches were so thats what her mind was on. When Rosie got to Cuba she didn't know there wasn't going to be anymore uber or lift. She had to ride the local bus that had a toll of 5 dollars. All she could think about is how much money people are missing out on with out having little systems like that. Little did she know they weren't allowed to have little businesses like that because they were a command economy so all resources are conrolled by the government.
  • Lastly, she stopped in Somalia, she was told it was the prettiest view to watch the sunset over the city. She now could agree with that statement. Most people have never heard of this country before. It is considered a third world country. It isn't very developed and is not in the global economy. This is considered a traditional economy. This means that Somalia has to produce the normal way and just does their own thing.
  • After Rosie's long day of traveling she just wanted to relax and watch tv. As she was sitting there in her living room she couldn't help but to think to her self how it was very cool to see all the different ways people live just because of their economy. But she also realizes the value she has to be living in the mixed economy country known as the United States.
